Arrested 2 subjects transporting firecrackers on the eve of Tet
(Baonghean.vn) - Two subjects were arrested by Ho Chi Minh Road Traffic Police while transporting fireworks to prepare for New Year's Eve.
On the afternoon of February 4, the Ho Chi Minh Road Traffic Police Team under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province said: The incident was carried out by the Team's working group at around 9:30 p.m. on February 2 on Ho Chi Minh Road.
Accordingly, the Task Force was on duty when it received a report that two young men on a motorbike were suspiciously transporting fireworks.

Immediately, the Task Force ambushed and intercepted at km 676 of Ho Chi Minh Road in Nghia Dung Commune, Tan Ky District. Not long after, the Task Force discovered two young men on a motorbike as reported and immediately signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection.
Upon inspection, the Task Force discovered that the two subjects were carrying 4.4 kg of foreign-origin firecrackers. The two subjects confessed that they bought the firecrackers to explode on New Year's Eve.
The two subjects include: Nguyen Duc Sang (born 1987) and Nguyen Cong Tu (born 1986), both residing in Nghia Tien commune, Thai Hoa town.
