Arrested 2 'mine mothers' for human trafficking to China, rescued 5 victims

The Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has successfully discovered a human trafficking case, initially arresting 2 related subjects, and successfully rescuing 5 victims who were sold to China for marriage.
On November 29, 2019, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police coordinated with Department 8 of the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security and the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police to arrest Nguyen Thi Tien (born in 1999), residing in Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city, on her way to take 2 women residing in Nghe An province to China for sale.

Expanding the investigation, the Criminal Police Department issued an emergency detention order for Pham Thi Men (born 1992), residing in Long Son commune, Anh Son district, Nghe An.
At the investigation agency, the two subjects admitted their crimes. Accordingly, in 2015, both subjects successfully bought and sold 3 people to China to get married. Notably, Nguyen Thi Tien, although a victim in a previous human trafficking case, when returning to Vietnam, together with Nguyen Thi Men, organized the buying and selling of other people to China to get married.

The victims in this case included 5 women who were all successfully rescued by Nghe An police.
The case is currently under investigation and expansion.
