265 kg of foul-smelling animal products caught passing through Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On National Highway 1A, through Dien Chau district, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station discovered and arrested 2 cases of transporting animal products that gave off a foul odor.
At 3:00 a.m. on May 20, while patrolling National Highway 1A, through Dien Hong commune, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station inspected a passenger bus with license plate 18B - 01314 driven by Do Van Kien (born in 1980), residing in Truc Ninh district, Nam Dinh province.
The vehicle was checked and found to be carrying 3 Styrofoam boxes containing 55 kg of processed animal products, including bird and dog meat. The driver declared that he was hired to transport goods from Soc Trang to Nam Dinh.

Previously, on May 19, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station also caught a case of transporting 4 foam boxes, containing 210 kg of slaughtered and processed animal products from Nam Dinh to Hanoi. The products had a foul smell and did not have quarantine documents as prescribed.
Driver Ngo Quoc Thuong (born in 1976), residing in Tran Hung Dao ward, Quang Ngai city, Quang Ngai province, declared that he was hired to transport 210 kg of slaughtered and processed animal products for an unknown person from Quang Ngai to Hanoi city.
After the arrest, all the goods were handed over to Dien Chau Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for handling according to regulations.
