Arrested 4 subjects in the brawl at a karaoke bar in Vinh

(Baonghean.vn) - After stabbing two people at a karaoke bar, Ngoc's group escaped. After 10 months of nationwide manhunt, the suspects were arrested while hiding in Hanoi.

On December 27, Vinh City Police announced that they had just arrested four wanted criminals: Nguyen Van Viet (born in 1997, residing in Hong Son Ward, Vinh City); Nguyen Lam Bao Ngoc (born in 1997, residing in Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City); Dau Dinh Tuan (born in 1997, residing in Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City) and Dinh Viet Dung (born in 1997, residing in Cua Nam Ward).

4 subjects were arrested.

According to the case file, at 8:30 p.m. on March 20, 2016, Nguyen Lam Bao Ngoc and a group of friends went to a karaoke bar at 108 Phan Dinh Phung Street, Cua Nam Ward (Vinh City) to sing karaoke.

On the first floor of the karaoke bar, Ngoc's group collided with Tran Tuan Huy (born in 1993, residing in Ben Thuy ward). The two sides argued loudly, Nguyen Lam Bao Ngoc and Dau Dinh Tuan rushed in and punched and kicked Huy, causing him to run out into the street. When Huy ran back to the bar, Dinh Viet Dung used a fruit knife from the bar to stab him several times in the leg, causing the victim to collapse.

Seeing Huy being attacked, Nguyen Xuan Anh Tuan (born in 1989, residing in Hung Dung ward), who was with the group, intervened and got into an argument with Nguyen Van Viet. While arguing, Ngoc picked up a knife and stabbed Nguyen Xuan Anh Tuan once. The two victims were then taken to the emergency room and their health gradually stabilized.

The group of suspects fled the scene. Vinh City Police investigated the scene and organized many reconnaissance teams to track down the perpetrators' escape route. The investigation agency then prosecuted all four suspects: Viet, Ngoc, Tuan and Dung for the crime of Intentional Infliction of Injury, and issued a nationwide wanted warrant.

After many months of hiding, on December 25, all four suspects were arrested by Vinh City Police while hiding in Hanoi. The case is still under investigation./.
