(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 21, Lieutenant Colonel To Van Hau - Head of Ky Son District Police said that the unit had just issued an order to temporarily detain a subject in a human trafficking ring to China to expand the investigation.

According to the record of the offender's testimony, around mid-2013, Cut Van Hue (born in 1978), residing in Huoi Nhuc village, Pha Danh commune (Ky Son), went to work in China and met and connected with a subject named Lo Thi Hoi from Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune (Ky Son), who is currently married and living in China.

After returning to Vietnam in 2014, Hue and a number of other people sought "prey" - women and girls in difficult circumstances or with family conflicts (those who intended to go to China to work or get married) - to lead them to China.

Through investigation, it was found that the family of Ms. Moong Thi Xieng (born in 1994), in Huoi Cang 1 village, Bac Ly commune (Ky Son), was facing economic difficulties, so Hue and his accomplices lured Ms. Xieng to China so that Hoi could sell her to a man to marry for 70,000 yuan (Chinese currency), equivalent to more than 210 million Vietnamese Dong.

When Hue took Ms. Xieng to sell, Ms. Xieng was 6 months pregnant. In early December 2018, Ms. Moong Thi Xieng escaped and after returning home, she wrote a complaint against Cut Van Hue for his illegal behavior.
At the investigation agency, Hue admitted all her crimes. Hue stated that she only received 31 million VND in commission transferred by Hoi. Hue took 11 million and divided the remaining 20 million among her accomplices.
Currently, the functional force of Ky Son District Police has initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and detained Cut Van Hue for human trafficking to continue investigating and expanding the case.
