Laotian arrested for transporting 20,000 drug pills into Nghe An for consumption

Implementing Project 377L, at 12:05 on March 22, 2019 at km 63 of National Highway 46 in Village 3, Thanh Thuy Commune (Thanh Chuong), the Drug and Crime Prevention Department (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with Thanh Thuy Border Gate Border Guard Station to detect and arrest 01 subject who was illegally transporting drugs from across the border to Vietnam for consumption.

The arrested subject is Bi Vang, 27 years old, from Phon Muong Noi village, Kham Cot district, Bolikhamxay province (Laos).
Evidence collected at the scene was 100 blue packages containing 20,000 synthetic drug pills.
According to initial statements, the subject transported the above drugs from across the border to Vietnam to sell for profit, and was discovered and arrested upon arriving at the above location.
Currently, Nghe An Border Guard force is completing the documents to hand over to the authorities for handling.
