Arrested subject for repeatedly transporting organs of unknown origin
(Baonghean.vn) - Ky Son District Police have just arrested a subject transporting more than 22kg of rotten animal organs and by-products being transported for consumption in remote communes of the district.
At noon on April 11, the working group of Ky Son District Police in coordination with Muong Xen Town Police discovered a subject driving a motorbike with license plate 37E1 - 273.70 carrying a white bag that was leaking and smelling.

Through inspection, the authorities discovered that the transported objects contained animal organs and by-products with a total weight of more than 22kg.
At the headquarters of the People's Committee of Muong Xen town, the subject declared his name as Nguyen Lam Ha, born in 1986, permanent resident of hamlet 13, Thanh Ha commune, Thanh Chuong district, currently temporarily residing in block 3, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district.
At the time of inspection, Ha could not show proof of origin of the goods and declared that these were pig organs purchased in Do Luong district and transported by passenger bus to Ky Son for sale in Muong Tip and Muong Ai communes.

Previously, on November 30, 2018, Nguyen Lam Ha was also administratively fined 3.5 million VND by the authorities of Ky Son district for the same act.
Accordingly, Ky Son District Police administratively fined the violator 5 million VND and handed over the violated exhibits to the District's Interdisciplinary Steering Committee for Food Safety and Hygiene for destruction according to regulations.
