Arrest of reactionary subjects against the Vietnamese State
Le Quoc Binh - a reactionary member of the Viet Tan terrorist organization who crossed the border from Cambodia and returned to Vietnam, carrying many weapons to carry out terrorist and sabotage activities - was arrested by the police.
- On August 30, the Ministry of Public Security's Information Portal released information stating that Binh Dinh Provincial Police in coordination with Phu Yen Provincial Police had just arrested a reactionary subject opposing the Vietnamese State.

Previously, in the early morning of August 29, under the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, Binh Dinh Provincial Police coordinated with Phu Yen Provincial Police to arrest Le Quoc Binh (born in 1974, permanent residence in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province).
This is a member of the Viet Tan terrorist organization, who crossed the border from Cambodia and returned to Vietnam, carrying many weapons to carry out terrorist and sabotage activities.
Searching the person and residence of Le Quoc Binh, Binh Dinh Provincial Police seized 2 military guns, 7 air guns and more than 500 bullets of various types; 1 large-displacement motorbike (Honda brand, 300 cc capacity) and many documents with reactionary content against the Vietnamese State.

At the police station, Le Quoc Binh confessed all his crimes.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified by Binh Dinh Provincial Police in accordance with the provisions of law.
According to the Ministry of Public Security, the Viet Tan organization, whose full name is “Vietnam Reform Party”, is headquartered in the United States; “Office 2” is in Bangkok, Thailand. The leaders and commanders of this terrorist organization are two Americans: Do Hoang Diem (born 1963) and Ly Thai Hung (born 1953).
After its establishment, Viet Tan recruited and trained members on how to use weapons and explosives to carry out terrorist activities, sabotage, kidnapping, and hostage killings, and carried out campaigns to send armed groups of 246 men from Thailand through Laos and Cambodia to Vietnam to establish "secret bases".
The group's purpose was to organize riots and terrorism, but it was prevented and neutralized by Vietnamese and Lao authorities.
