(Baonghean.vn) - The subject was transporting 30 heroin cakes from across the border to Vietnam for consumption when he was discovered and arrested by the Border Guard force in coordination with the authorities.
At around 6:00 p.m. on June 10, at Bac village, Vieng Xay district, Hua Phan province (Laos), the forces of the Drug and Crime Prevention Department (Border Guard Command), the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, Thong Thu Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with the Hua Phan provincial police (Laos) to successfully combat Project 026AV.

As a result, Xeng Giang, 21 years old, from Bac village, Vieng Xay district, Hua Phan province (Laos) was arrested. The seized evidence included 30 heroin cakes and 1 mobile phone.

According to initial statements, the subject was on his way to transport the above amount of drugs from across the border to Vietnam for consumption, and was discovered and arrested upon arriving at the above location.
Currently, the evidence and the subject have been completed and handed over to Hua Phan provincial police for further processing.
