Arrest of accomplice helping murderer in Vinh city

(Baonghean.vn)- On June 4, Vinh City Police said that Tran Van Tri (born in 1988), residing in Hung Thinh Commune, Hung Nguyen District, was urgently arrested for investigation in connection with the murder case in Cua Nam Ward on June 2.

According to the investigation agency, it was initially determined that on the afternoon of June 2, Tran Van Tri, wearing a mask, drove a motorbike carrying TVC (born in 1987), residing in Vinh city, to the area of ​​alley 21, Dang Van Thuy street, block 15, Cua Nam ward, then stopped the motorbike and discovered Vo Dinh Toan (born in 1988), residing in Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city, standing and talking with Hoa (born in 1990). At this time, Tri stopped the motorbike so that TV C. could jump off the motorbike and rush forward, swinging a knife at Vo Dinh Toan and Hoa.

Both victims were taken to the emergency room, but the knife wound was so fatal that Vo Dinh Toan died shortly thereafter. Ms. Hoa is currently being treated at the hospital.

Immediately after committing the crime, both suspects fled the scene. Dozens of criminal investigators from Vinh City Police and the Department of Investigation of Social Order Crimes (PC45) urgently searched for the suspects, coordinating with related units to organize crime scene and autopsy examinations.

Nearly a day after committing the crime, on the afternoon of June 3, suspect Tran Van Tri was arrested by the police while hiding in the locality. "Initially, it was determined that Tri was the one who helped the perpetrator TVC commit the crime," said a police officer.

The police are concentrating their forces to capture the direct perpetrator and calling for him to surrender. The TVC subject is also determined to have a criminal record.

The investigation agency also said that the initial assessment that led to the case was due to conflicts in love life.
