Rare golden turtle weighing over 70 kg caught on Nghe An sea
While fishing, a Thanh Hoa fisherman caught a rare golden turtle. Realizing that the turtle was completely healthy, the fisherman released it back into the sea.
On December 28, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ngu Loc commune (Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa) confirmed that a local fisherman had just caught a golden turtle.

The fisherman who caught the precious turtle is Mr. Nguyen Van Lien (53 years old, in Thanh Lap village, Ngu Loc commune). While fishing in the sea of Quynh Phuong commune, Hoang Mai town (Nghe An), Mr. Lien discovered a large turtle entangled in the net. Mr. Lien and the crew brought the turtle onto the boat to take care of it.

Seeing that the turtle was completely healthy, Mr. Lien's family decided to release the turtle back into the marine environment.
It is known that the turtle is yellow-brown in color, about 1.5m long, 1m wide at its widest point, and weighs about 70kg.
