1,600 poultry of unknown origin seized
(Baonghean.vn) - Checking a truck with Lao license plate UN-1582, it was discovered that the truck was carrying 20 cardboard boxes containing 1,600 ducklings without quarantine certificates.
On January 22, 2018, Mr. Le Duc Tinh, head of the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station of Tan Ky district, said that the unit had just received more than 1,600 chickens without quarantine certificates from the working group of Traffic Police Team No. 3, Road and Railway Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police.

Accordingly, at around 9:30 p.m. on January 19, at km 695 of Ho Chi Minh road in Tan Huong commune, Tan Ky district, the working group of Traffic Police Team No. 3, Road and Railway Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, while on patrol, discovered a truck with many suspicious signs.
The working group inspected a truck with Laotian license plate UN-1582. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the truck was carrying 20 cardboard boxes containing 1,600 ducklings without quarantine certificates. The driver was Nguyen Ba Phu, (born in 1973, Ma Thanh commune, Yen Thanh).
The working group has drawn up a record of the incident and handed over all of the above goods to the Tan Ky District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for handling according to regulations.
