Arrested 34 subjects using weapons to disturb public order

Recently, in Dien Chau district, there have been a number of groups of young people gathering, driving motorbikes carrying more people than allowed, removing license plates, weaving, carrying weapons, shouting, throwing beer bottles, throwing rocks on the street..., causing outrage among the people and disrupting security and order in the area.

Using synchronous professional measures, from November 18 to 25, 2024, Dien Chau District Police mobilized 100% of the force of 3 teams 373 along with professional teams, Commune and Town Police to simultaneously arrest 34 subjects for the act of "Disturbing public order".

The subjects were mainly born between 2004 and 2009, residing in Dien Chau town and the communes of Minh Chau, Dien Lien, Dien Thinh, Dien Bich, Dien Ngoc, Dien Trung, and Dien Thanh.

At the scene, authorities seized evidence including: 8 motorbikes, 8 knives, swords, 1 iron rod, and 1 crate of beer bottles.

In the above group of subjects, Vo Anh Hai (born 2006), residing in Dien Lien commune, Dien Chau district, has a previous conviction for "Disturbing public order".

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Dien Chau District Police is temporarily detaining the subject to continue investigating and handling according to the provisions of law.
