Arrest of subject transporting more than 12 kg of fireworks

At about 2:52 p.m. on January 4, 2019, at km 12 of National Highway 7A through Vien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, the patrol team of Traffic Police Team 1.7 arrested a subject transporting fireworks.
When checking the car with license plate 37C-054.30 driven by Nguyen Van Cuong (residing in Tam Hop commune, Quy Hop), the patrol team discovered a sack in the back of the car, containing 10 foreign-made 36-round firecrackers weighing 12 kg.
Traffic Police Team 1.7 has handed over the subject and evidence to Yen Thanh District Police for further investigation and handling.
