Young man arrested for illegally carrying homemade weapons and bullets across the border
(Baonghean.vn) - A young man carrying explosives, bullets, and homemade guns illegally crossing the border from the other side of the border to Vietnam was discovered and handled by the Border Guard Station at Nam Can International Border Gate and the Ky Son District Police.
At 5:50 p.m. on May 5, the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard, in coordination with Ky Son District Police, was patrolling and controlling the area in Tien Tieu village, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district when they discovered a young man walking from the other side of the border to Vietnam.

Through inspection, the young man's name is Lau Ba Tria (born in 1993), originally from Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district, permanent residence in Cha Lat village, Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district; left for Laos on January 31, 2020, without completing entry procedures.
Checking Tria's luggage, the authorities discovered a homemade gun, 207 yellow cylindrical explosive pellets, a bag of ball bearings and a number of other related exhibits.

Nam Can International Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to complete the documents according to legal regulations and send the subject to centralized quarantine according to regulations.

Through investigation and verification, there are no signs that the subject committed a crime.
Currently, Muong Ai Border Guard Station has coordinated with the locality to hand over the subject to centralized quarantine to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic according to regulations.
