17 year old arrested for selling homemade fireworks
(Baonghean.vn) -At around 7:00 p.m. on January 7, while on duty in Le Loi Ward (Vinh City), the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police discovered and arrested a subject who was illegally manufacturing fireworks, seizing nearly 19 kg of homemade fireworks.

The arrested subject is Do Chi Lam (born 2000), residing in Le Loi ward (Vinh city). Accordingly, during the inspection, the police force seized 20 rolled firecrackers in a plastic bag, weighing nearly 16 kg.
Expanding the investigation, the authorities conducted an emergency search of Lam's residence, seizing an additional 3 kg of homemade fireworks and many other fireworks making tools.
At the police station, Lam confessed that he learned how to make fireworks through social networks, then bought them, mixed them with sulfur powder and charcoal, wrapped them in white paper, and then sold them.
The subject and evidence have been handed over to Vinh City Police for further investigation and handling in accordance with the law./.
