Mechanic in Nghe An arrested for transporting 6 heroin cakes, 13kg of crystal meth

On the morning of October 12, Do Luong District Police presided over and coordinated with Nghi Loc District Police to successfully crack a case.drug, arrested Nguyen Van Nghia, born in 1986, residing in hamlet 3, Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district for illegal possession of drugs; seized 06 heroin cakes, 13kg of crystal meth, 50 synthetic drug pills.

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Do Luong District Police determined that there was a drug trafficking line from the districts.Western Nghe AnNguyen Van Nghia was the one who transported large quantities of drugs to the downstream for consumption. In order to promptly cut off this network, under the direct direction of the Provincial Police, Do Luong District Police coordinated with related units to establish a special project and fight.

Using professional measures, the investigation team determined that on October 10, 2020, Nguyen Van Nghia went to Western Nghe An to get goods and transport them to hide at his private home in Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district, planning to transport them to the South.

The task force has made a plan, calculated carefully, divided into 04 working groups, including 35 officers and soldiers to arrest the subject. The working groups have been in ambush at many locations, many routes that the subject is expected to pass through.

At 7:00 a.m. on October 12, 2020, in hamlet 3, Nghi Phong commune, Nghi Loc district, the police force caught Nguyen Van Nghia red-handed while he was sitting in a taxi just leaving his house, seizing 12 MTTH pills and 0.7g of heroin from him.

Immediately afterwards, the Task Force conducted an emergency search of the suspect's residence in Hamlet 3, Nghi Phong Commune, Nghi Loc District, seizing 12 packages of crystal meth, weighing 13kg; 06 heroin cakes, weighing 2.1kg; 50 synthetic drug pills; 01 electronic scale and a number of other related exhibits.

At the Investigation Agency, Nguyen Van Nghia initially confessed that he was a mechanic in Nghi Loc district. On October 10, 2020, Nghia rode a motorbike to Que Phong district and received a suitcase containing 12 packages of crystal meth, 6 heroin bars, and 50 MTTH pills from a stranger, then transported the drugs to his home to hide.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded.
