According to the Washington Post, suspect Julius Trotter, 31 years old, was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after a chase in Chino, California.
The arrest came a day after Las Vegas police issued a wanted notice for a man in his 20s with a distinctive tattoo on the back of his neck.
The Washington Post reported that Trotter is currently being held in San Bernardino County Jail, California. The suspect appears to have no criminal record.
US police are currently investigating the murders of Nghia Boi Sang, 38, and Nguyen Le Ba Khuong, 30, as murder-robbery. Both were found in a Circus Circus hotel room on June 1 with multiple stab wounds.

Police officer Ray Spencer said the attack may have been triggered by a witness reporting hearing an argument in a room on the 21st floor of the hotel.
Elevator security cameras captured a man arriving at the top floor of the hotel at 4 a.m., and leaving about 45 minutes later, with a bag similar to the male victim's.
The two Vietnamese victims were part of a group of tourists who arrived in Las Vegas on May 31 after departing from Los Angeles. The group had planned to visit the Grand Canyon National Park the following day, but the two did not show up at the scheduled time.
Police arrived shortly after at the request of hotel staff and found the bodies of two victims in the room. It is not yet clear who will receive the $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. The money may go to the Circus Circus hotel owner.
