Arrested rebellious son who used knife to kill mother and injure father

On February 10, the Investigation Police Agency, Me Linh District Police, Hanoi initiated a criminal case, prosecuted and temporarily detained Nguyen Van Canh (born in 1993, residing in Me Linh Commune, Me Linh District, Hanoi) for the act of "Murder".

Previously, at around 5:40 p.m. on February 6, a serious crime occurred in Lieu Tri village, Me Linh commune, Me Linh district. Specifically, while Mr. NVT and Mrs. NTB (parents of Nguyen Van Canh) were sitting in the middle of the yard making flowers, the family had an argument and raised their voices with Nguyen Van Canh.

In a fit of rage, Canh took a knife and slashed his biological mother, causing Mrs. B to die. Seeing this, Canh's father tried to stop him, but this "rebellious son" continued to slash him with the knife. Panicked, Mr. T ran to the gate and called for help from the people. Canh chased him out and continued to slash and injure a neighbor.

Immediately afterwards, the victims were taken to Viet Duc Hospital by local residents for emergency treatment. After committing the crime, Canh entered the house, took a Honda Wave motorbike and fled the scene, heading towards Soc Son district, Hanoi.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Me Linh District Police coordinated with the Criminal Police and Criminal Technique Department of Hanoi City Police to arrest Nguyen Van Canh, the perpetrator of the case, while he was hiding in Me Linh Commune. The case was transferred to the Criminal Police Department by Me Linh District Police for further handling in accordance with the law.
