Number 10 has always been the familiar number of Nguyen Cong Phuong at the U19 and U23 levels of Vietnam. At the 2019 Asian Cup Finals, when his senior Nguyen Van Quyet was absent, Cong Phuong was also assigned to wear the number 10 shirt.
