Quickly arrest the perpetrator of property theft at Lang Anh Parish Church

Although the incident happened 2 days ago, only 6 hours after receiving the report, Nghi Loc District Police found the culprit who stole the computer from Lang Anh Parish Church.

Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. on September 22, 2022, Nghi Loc District Police received a report from Lang Anh Parish, Nghi Phong Commune (Nghi Loc District) that on September 20, 2022, the church was broken into by thieves in the worship area and a laptop worth about 5 million VND was stolen.

Immediately after receiving the report, the leaders of Nghi Loc District Police sent a working group to verify and clarify the case. By 4:00 p.m. the same day, Nghi Loc District Police had investigated, clarified and arrested NTH (born in 1975), residing in Hung Trung Commune, Hung Nguyen District, for theft of property. H. was the direct perpetrator of the theft at Lang Anh Parish Church.

The police recovered the laptop as evidence of the case and returned it to the victim's representative.

This is the second case that Nghi Loc District Police have successfully solved related to property theft at Lang Anh Parish Church (Nghi Phong Commune). Previously, in 2017, just one day after receiving a report that the church had been broken into and an organ and a sound system worth about 80 million VND were stolen, Nghi Loc District Police also quickly arrested the perpetrator and returned the property to the representative of the Parish Pastoral Council.

Currently, Nghi Loc District Police are consolidating documents to handle the case according to the provisions of law./.
