Arrest of group of subjects using illegal guns

(Baonghean)- The Mobile Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) has just arrested 4 subjects for illegally using hunting guns.

At around 5:00 p.m. on September 22, upon receiving information from the public in a field in Hamlet 7, Hung Loi Commune, Hung Nguyen District, five men in a Lac Hong taxi, license plate 37A-268.74, were using hunting guns to shoot birds.

During the verification, the police discovered 4 subjects: Au Duong Minh (born in 1982) residing in Le Loi ward, Vinh city; Le Ngoc Son (born in 1983) residing in hamlet 5, Hung Loi commune; Tran Van Ha (born in 1977) and Le Van The (born in 1979), both residing in Hung Nhan commune, Hung Nguyen district, were using guns to shoot birds, and a subject named Tung fled when he saw the working group.

Upon inspection, the working group discovered in the taxi a fishing tackle bag containing 01 hunting gun (type of shotgun), 03 shotgun shells, 48 ​​sports bullets with lead bullets, 01 box of lead bullets, 01 binoculars, 01 metal gun stand and tools for packing shotgun bullets; 01 air gun and 01 box of air gun lead bullets.

The working group drew up a record and brought the subjects and the evidence to the police headquarters for questioning. Initially, the subjects confessed to buying the above evidence from an unknown person and bringing it back from Laos.

The case is under further investigation.
