Arrested female drug trafficker from Laos to Vietnam

On the evening of April 1, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department coordinated with Traffic Police Station 5.1 of the Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police), Thai Hoa Town Police, and Quynh Luu District Police to arrest Pham Thi Mai (born in 1960), residing in Hamlet 13A, Nghi Kim Commune, Vinh City, for illegally buying and selling drugs, and seized 2 cakes of Heroin.
Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) determined that "female monster" Pham Thi Mai was the leader of a transnational drug trafficking ring from Laos to Vietnam in large quantities, so a special project was established to fight.

After nearly 2 months of persistently following the area, regularly monitoring the subject's movements. On March 31, 2019, determining that Pham Thi Mai would bring drugs from Laos to Vietnam through Cha Lo border gate, Quang Binh province and then bring them to Hanoi for sale, the task force mobilized all forces, assigned working groups to set up ambushes at pre-planned checkpoints.
By the evening of April 1, 2019, when the subject moved to Quynh Hong commune, Quynh Luu district, realizing that the subject could escape and destroy the evidence, the task force quickly coordinated with Thai Hoa town police, Traffic Police Station 5.1 under the Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police), Quynh Luu district police to ambush, quickly caught red-handed, and seized 2 Heroin cakes from Pham Thi Mai.
Initially, the subject confessed to his crime. Currently, the case is under further investigation.
