Caught 11 gambling subjects

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 1, Quy Hop District Police announced that they had just busted and detained 11 subjects organizing gambling in the form of dice shaking.

At around 4:00 p.m. on January 31, through the work of grasping the situation, at Thung Doc Da 2 in Thang Loi hamlet, Van Loi commune, Quy Hop district police force raided and caught 11 subjects gambling by shaking dice while the subjects were engrossed in gambling with each other.

At the scene, Quy Hop police arrested 5 suspects including: Nguyen Phi Hoi (born in 1959), residing in Xuan Loi hamlet; Nguyen Giao Hop (born in 1960), residing in Dai Xuan hamlet; To Van Toan (born in 1964), residing in Thang Loi hamlet; Pham Ngoc Van (born in 1978), residing in Dai Xuan hamlet; Vo Van Hong (born in 1976), residing in Van Giai hamlet.

Evidence seized at the gambling den included more than 7.7 million VND, 5 mobile phones and gambling tools.

Six suspects fled the scene and surrendered on February 1, including Truong Quoc Luc (born in 1983), residing in Tay Loi hamlet; Nguyen Giao Son (born in 1975), residing in Dai Xuan hamlet; Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1976), residing in Thang Loi hamlet; Phan Van Hien (born in 1985), residing in Dai Thanh hamlet; Nguyen Duy Lam (born in 1987), residing in Xuan Son hamlet, and Le Dinh Thuan (born in 1986), residing in Dai Xuan hamlet.

The subjects participating in gambling all reside in Van Loi commune, Quy Hop district. At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed to their gambling behavior. Currently, the investigation agency of Quy Hop district police is completing the dossier to handle the subjects before the law./.
