Caught a group of men and women using drugs in a hotel in Vinh City

(Baonghean.vn)- At 4:30 a.m. on November 21, the Drug Crime Investigation Department (Nghe An Police) administratively inspected room 601 of a large hotel in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city, and discovered 11 subjects illegally using drugs.

At the time of inspection, in addition to the 9 subjects in the room, there were 2 subjects preparing to enter room 601. The working group requested to enter and check in the black cloth bag of 1 subject, there was a white potylene package containing leaves, branches, and seeds of a green plant suspected to be marijuana.

During the inspection, the task force seized 2 music speakers, 1 multi-colored light, a white Potylene package containing 3 blue tablets suspected to be synthetic drugs, and a plastic bottle with a metal nozzle stuck straight into the bottle.

The working group proceeded to seize the exhibits and invited all of the above subjects to the police station to clarify the matter.

Through initial statements, the subjects have permanent residence in Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Con Cuong, Nghia Dan and Quy Hop districts. The reason for gathering to use drugs was to say goodbye to a friend in the group who was about to go to work far away.

The Drug Crime Investigation Department of Nghe An Police has coordinated with relevant professional units to take steps to handle the case in accordance with the provisions of law.
