Nghe An police caught red-handed a man possessing nearly 1,000 ecstasy pills
Tuong Duong District Police (Nghe An) have just successfully broken up a case, catching a man red-handed transporting nearly 1,000 ecstasy pills, homemade guns, and knives.
Previously, Tuong Duong District Police discovered that recently in Huu Khuong Commune, Vi Van Xuyen (born in 1975), residing in Xan Village, regularly colluded with subjects with criminal records for "Illegal trading, use, and possession of drugs" in border communes of Que Phong District and neighboring areas to form a drug trafficking ring.
It is worth mentioning that the activities of the subjects are very aggressive and reckless, ready to fight back fiercely when discovered and captured.

Faced with that situation, with the determination to keep the border area clean, under the direction of the provincial police leadership, Tuong Duong district police established a special project to fight and destroy.
After a period of monitoring and synchronous use of professional measures, at 3:10 a.m. on August 13, 2024, at Xan village, Huu Khuong commune, the Criminal Investigation Police Team on criminal, economic and drug crimes presided over and coordinated with Huu Khuong commune police and Working Group 373 (Tuong Duong district police) to successfully break the case, arresting Vi Van Xuyen red-handed for illegal possession of drugs, seizing 955 pink pills, 2 homemade hunting guns, 1 small scale, and 2 knives.
The case is currently under investigation and expansion.
