The Provincial Military Command inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10 in the communes of Western Nghe An.
On September 29 and 30, a working delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Military Command led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Duc - Deputy Chief of Staff and comrades in the Defense Command of Region 4 - Tuong Duong directly inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10 in the western communes of Nghe An province.
Through inspection, on National Highway 7, many sections have landslides, mud flows onto the road, broken trees block traffic, making it impossible for vehicles to pass.
To restore traffic soon, the route management unit coordinated with local forces and the Defense Command of Region 4 - Tuong Duong to organize forces to handle large trees that fell along the road, put up warning signs, and mobilized maximum human resources and equipment to level and temporarily clear the route.
In addition, the Defense Command of Region 4 - Tuong Duong coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations to direct the Military Command of communes, mobilize forces to participate in the work of preventing and fighting heavy rains caused by storm circulation.
The forces urgently helped people move people and property out of dangerous areas, cleared roads to ensure smooth traffic; at the same time, organized 100% of the forces on duty, ready to mobilize and promptly handle situations, contributing to ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
