On behalf of the Presidium, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy, who chaired the election, expressed his belief that the Congress would wisely elect the new Party Executive Committee to promote the tradition of solidarity, democracy, innovation, and creativity to lead the successful implementation of the Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term.

After listening to the Provincial Party Secretary thoroughly explain the requirements on standards, conditions; number, personnel structure participating in the 19th Provincial Party Executive Committee, innovation rate, rate of young cadres, female cadres, cadres from ethnic minorities, 100% of delegates voted in agreement.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term XIX, 2020 - 2025, has 66 members (including 1 additional member transferred by the Central Committee). Thus, compared to the term 2015 - 2020, the number of members of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, term XIX, 2020 - 2025, decreased by 5 members, equivalent to 7%. Of which, the Congress elected 64 members (2 vacancies).

The Congress approved a list of 73 comrades to elect 64 comrades to the 19th Provincial Party Executive Committee and conducted the election.

After a period of serious work, comrade Pham Van Dong - Political Commissar, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Head of the Ballot Counting Committee announced the results of the election of 64 comrades to the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XIX, 2020 - 2025.

Also in this afternoon's working session, the Congress continued to discuss and contribute ideas to the Documents of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

Next, the Congress proceeded to vote on the nomination of the Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.
