Mr. Duc wants to quit V-League, is the psychology of HA Gia Lai players affected?

In the last two rounds of V-League, HA Gia Lai players played with quite bad form and suffered heavy losses. Between those two matches, HA Gia Lai won a match in the national cup, but that is a tournament with a completely different nature than V-League.

After losing to Saigon FC in round 5 of V-League at Thong Nhat Stadium, coach Duong Minh Ninh of HA Gia Lai Club said that Mr. Duc had never directly talked about the possibility of leaving V-League with the whole team, but the HA Gia Lai coaching staff still had to constantly encourage the players, that while there was no official order, the team had to practice and compete with the utmost concentration.

That means it cannot be said that the psychology of HA Gia Lai players is not affected after Mr. Duc's announcement to quit V-League.

In the make-up match of round 3, against Hanoi FC on April 5, not long after Mr. Duc first announced that he would quit V-League in response to VFF, HA Gia Lai lost to Hanoi FC 0-5.

In round 5 of V-League, HA Gia Lai continued to lose 1-3 to Saigon FC at Thong Nhat Stadium on the evening of April 14, when the controversy of Mr. Duc before the 8th VFF Congress still showed no signs of cooling down.

Between those two heavy losses, HA Gia Lai had a 5-0 victory over Than Quang Ninh in the first round of the national cup. But the national cup is a tournament of a completely different nature from the V-League.

Even the defeated team of HA Gia Lai that day, Than Quang Ninh, was not interested in this playground, through the way they arranged their squad during their away match against HA Gia Lai, and especially through the lackadaisical attitude of the mining region players against the mountain town team players.

That victory was not noticed as much as the fact that Cong Phuong and his teammates lost two consecutive matches in the V-League, and in each match, a Wood player had psychological problems.

In the 0-5 loss to Hanoi FC, Tang Tien was the one who lost his temper, leading to an unwise tackle, which resulted in a red card, and then a suspension for the rest of the first leg from Mr. Duc. In the 1-3 loss to Saigon FC, goalkeeper Le Van Truong made fatal mistakes, causing HA Gia Lai to lose 2 goals at the end of the first half.

In addition to the announcement of wanting to quit V-League from Mr. Duc, the unwritten rule of having to play beautifully, along with the extremely heavy penalty for Tang Tien after just one uncontrolled tackle announced by Mr. Duc's order, made it even more difficult for HA Gia Lai players to play.

Football is a sport that requires physical contact, so arguing with referees is not uncommon (even for the world's most famous football team, Barcelona), as long as those arguments don't go too far.

HA Gia Lai players often feel frustrated with the opponent's tricks but cannot react, making them feel uncomfortable, leading to instability in terms of skills.

Most of Mr. Duc's players were already not strong mentally, had not reached mental and professional stability, and were now further affected by the announcement that they could leave the V-League at any time, causing Wood to not be able to show all of its strengths in the last few consecutive rounds, but instead revealed many weaknesses in its performance!
