Bau Duc speaks up to give Tang Tien a chance to correct his mistakes
In response to opinions that the internal suspension until the end of the first leg of V.League 2018 for Tang Tien after the rough tackle that injured Duy Manh was too severe, Mr. Duc spoke up again.
In the match where HAGL lost 0-5 to Hanoi FC at Hang Day Stadium on the evening of April 5, in addition to the weak image of the players, the team from the mountain town also left a "bad reputation" with Tang Tien's destructive tackle on Duy Manh and received a direct red card from the referee.
Watching the match on television, Mr. Duc was very dissatisfied and immediately asked the coaching staff to severely discipline Tang Tien by removing this young central defender from the club's roster until the end of the first leg of V.League 2018.

There are many different opinions surrounding the extremely heavy internal punishment for Tang Tien, many of whom believe that it could cause this young central defender to lose his talent, and at the same time hope that Mr. Duc will reconsider and give his players a lighter punishment. In response, the boss of the Mountain City once again affirmed that the punishment was still light and gave Tang Tien a chance to correct his mistakes.
"My point of view has always been to not tolerate violence on the pitch. Therefore, any player who plays rudely or disrespectfully will be suspended and prevented from playing football," Mr. Duc sent a strong message.
"I should have banned him for the whole season, the end of the first half would have been too lenient and given him a chance to correct his mistakes. Since I started playing football, I have been determined not to live with violence, that's why I have trained hundreds of young players and always demanded from them the first thing is morality, education and then football...", the tycoon added.
It is known that after a somewhat malicious tackle from Tang Tien, Duy Manh suffered a serious injury and will most likely not be able to join Hanoi FC in the match against Dak Lak in the National Cup qualifying round.
However, he affirmed that he did not mind Tang Tien's overly aggressive tackle and hoped that Mr. Duc would "raise high and hit lightly" this central defender.
