Bau Duc wants Cong Phuong to play for 10 years in Japan

Details of Cong Phuong's one-year contract with the team currently playing in J-League 2 have not been disclosed. However, according to HAGL Chairman Doan Nguyen Duc, if after one year Cong Phuong progresses and meets the needs of the new club, the two sides will sit down to continue negotiations. "If it is good for all three parties, we can let Cong Phuong play there for 10 years," said Mr. Duc.

Meanwhile, Mr. Numata Kunio, President of Mito Hollyhock Club, expressed his joy at having this young talent. “Last season, we successfully stayed in the league. And with the presence of Cong Phuong next season, we are confident to aim for ninth place,” he said. “Of course, we do not only rely on Cong Phuong but also have many other strategies to achieve the set goal.”

The J-League 2 season has just ended, and Cong Phuong's new team stayed in the league at 19th place. "The presence of Cong Phuong will be a breath of fresh air for the club. In the near future, we will play in J-League 1, the highest football league in Japan," Mr. Numata Kunio confidently said.
