Nghe An Border Guard arrested a subject transporting 20.5 kg of explosives

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Border Guard force has just dismantled a drug trafficking and transportation ring, arrested 1 subject and seized more than 20 kg of TNT explosives.

Implementing the plan to combat the project codenamed "350L" to destroy the explosives transportation line on the sea route, at 5:30 a.m. on December 4, in Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town, the Criminal Police Force of Nghe An Provincial Border Guard coordinated with Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station to discover and arrest a subject transporting explosives.

At the scene, detectives confiscated evidence including 20.5 kg of TNT explosives. Immediately afterwards, the subject was taken to Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station for further investigation. Here, subject Nguyen Sy Binh (born in 1970), residing in Quynh Vinh commune, Hoang Mai town, confessed that he bought the above explosives from an unknown subject in Quynh Loc commune, Hoang Mai town for sale.

Currently, Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station has decided to prosecute the case and continue to investigate./.
