There are 16 qualified candidates participating in the test to recommend for appointment to the positions of Deputy Chief of Staff, Border Guard Station Chief, Command Office Chief and Border Guard Station Political Commissar.

Candidates participating in the test will take 3 parts: Written test on awareness of military and defense work; Practice handling professional situations and Practice on team command.

Through the examination, to correctly assess the actual capacity according to the responsibilities and tasks of the staff currently in charge. On that basis, to consider and select staff with the capacity to meet the requirements to complete the task well when appointed to a higher position.

Colonel Tran Hai Binh - Commander of Nghe An Border Guard said: Organizing an examination to select leaders and managers will create transparency, fairness and competition in selecting officers, contributing to improving the quality and capacity of the team of commanding and managing officers at all levels in Nghe An Border Guard.
