Closing of the 21st Congress of Tan Ky District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025

On the afternoon of August 6, the Congress of Tan Ky District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025 continued to take place. The Congress announced the results of the first meeting of the Tan Ky District Party Committee Executive Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

The Executive Committee of the Tan Ky District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term elected 11 comrades to the Standing Committee of the Tan Ky District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Bui Thanh Bao continued to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Tan Ky District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Comrades Phan Van Giap and Hoang Quoc Viet continued to be elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Tan Ky District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Executive Committee of the Tan Ky District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, also elected 7 comrades to the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term 2020 - 2025. Comrade Dang Ba Hung was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Tan Ky District Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

The congress also elected 13 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

Delegates continued to discuss and contribute their heartfelt opinions on the tasks and solutions for the development of Tan Ky district in the coming term. The Congress also approved the synthesis of comments at the Congress on the draft documents of the 13th National Congress of the Party, the Political Report of the 19th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, etc.

The Congress adopted the Congress Resolution, demonstrating unity in all fields and issues related to viewpoints, guidelines, and situation assessment, drawing valuable and useful experiences, and at the same time clearly defining the direction, development viewpoints, goals, tasks, and key solutions, and breakthroughs of the Party Committee in the new period.

The general goal is to continue to build a truly strong Party organization. Enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, the management efficiency of the State, promote the role of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations. Constantly innovate, be dynamic, creative, maintain political and social stability, solidarity, unity, promote internal strength, make maximum use of all resources to effectively exploit the potential and strengths of the district.

Sustainable development of industry, services, agriculture, health, culture, education; constantly improving the material and spiritual life of the people; linking socio-economic development with sustainable national defense and security; building a strong and comprehensive Party and political system. Strive by 2025, Tan Ky will become a district with fast and sustainable development in the Western region of Nghe An.

To achieve the above goal, the Resolution sets 26 main targets by 2025. Of which, the average growth rate of production value in 5 years is 10 - 11%; Average income per capita by 2025 reaches 60 - 65 million VND. Budget revenue in the area increases by an average of 11.5 - 12.5%/year and by 2025 reaches about 155 - 160 billion VND. Total social investment capital in the period of 2021 - 2025 is about 18,000 - 19,000 billion VND.

The rate of schools meeting national standards is 90 - 95%. The rate of poor households decreases by 0.5 - 1.0% each year. The number of communes meeting new rural standards by 2025 is from 17 - 18 communes. Strive for the district Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the district level to be annually classified as completing their tasks well or better.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Comrade Bui Thanh Bao - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tan Ky district emphasized that the successful results of the Congress are very important for the development of Tan Ky district in the coming time.
