5 year old boy followed his uncle to catch fish, drowned

A representative of the Tan Hop commune government, Tan Ky district (Nghe An) said: A tragic drowning incident occurred in the area. The victim was Nguyen Quang Th. (5 years old), son of Nguyen Quang Luat, Nghia Thanh hamlet, Tan Hop commune, Tan Ky district.
Accordingly, at 5:00 p.m. on August 19, while following his uncle to the pond near his house to catch fish, Th. slipped and fell into the pond. Because no one was paying attention, when discovered, the child had died.
The funeral was held at 9am on August 20th according to local customs. The Party Committee, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and departments and organizations of Tan Hop commune visited and expressed condolences to the family.
