Two children missing after morning outing were found dead in a puddle near a quarry.
After nearly a day of searching, people discovered two students tragically drowned in a puddle near a quarry in Quynh Son commune, Nghe An province.
At around 7:30 a.m. on August 3, Nguyen Minh Phuc (born in 2015) and Vu Nguyen Ngoc Hanh (born in 2016), both living in Hamlet 9, Quynh Son Commune (formerly Quynh Lam), Nghe An Province, invited each other to go out. When they did not return by noon, their families mobilized relatives and neighbors to look for them, and also notified the local authorities and commune police to assist in the search.

At around 4:00 p.m. the same day, a group of students went to a puddle next to a quarry in hamlet 12, Quynh Son commune to bathe and discovered two people drowning.
Immediately after that, the group of students shouted and informed the people living nearby. When the bodies of the two victims were brought to shore, the people confirmed that they were Phuc and Hanh, who had gone missing earlier.
Currently, the authorities have handed over the victims' bodies to their families for funeral arrangements.
