Socio-economic development has many improvements
Quynh Son commune was established on the basis of merging 3 old communes: Ngoc Son, Quynh Lam and Quynh Son of the former Quynh Luu district. After the merger, the whole commune has an area of 61.21km2and a population of 36,834 people. The Quynh Son Commune Party Committee has 55 affiliated Party cells with 1,033 Party members. In the 2020-2025 term, despite many difficulties and challenges, thanks to closely following the direction of superiors and the practical situation, the Party Committees of the old communes have led the political system together with the people to unite to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Congress Resolution.
The total product value in the whole commune (2010 comparable price) in 2025 is estimated to reach 1,298.6 billion VND; the average growth rate of total product value in the 5-year period 2020 - 2025 is estimated to reach 8.45%. The average income per capita in 2025 is estimated to reach 57.26 million VND. The economic structure has shifted in a positive direction: Agriculture - forestry - fishery is estimated to reach 44.64%; Industry - construction is estimated to reach 23.25%; services are estimated to reach 32.11%.
Agricultural, forestry and fishery production is considered the strength of Quynh Son. The total cultivated area in 2025 of the whole commune is 3,243 hectares; food output is estimated at 12,900 tons. The average value of crop production per hectare is estimated at 115.3 million VND/year. To improve productivity and product value, people have gradually applied high technology in agricultural production, initially achieving good results such as the model of growing vegetables, flowers and fruits in greenhouses in Quynh Son commune, producing vegetables according to product consumption in Ngoc Son commune (old). Using transplanters and drones to spray pesticides in Quynh Lam commune (old), sowing seeds in Quynh Son commune for agricultural production. The total annual aquaculture area is 403.1 hectares; aquaculture output in 2025 is estimated at 749 tons. Livestock continues to shift towards forming concentrated farms.
Industrial production, small-scale industry, and rural occupations have developed quite evenly and diversely; the total product value in 2025 is estimated at 536.29 billion VND. Socio-economic infrastructure has been invested in a synchronous and modern manner, creating a new breakthrough compared to the beginning of the term. Many key and driving projects on infrastructure development have been implemented. Over the past 5 years, over 618.29 billion VND has been attracted to invest in building infrastructure to meet development requirements such as: roads, schools, irrigation works serving production, people's lives and other auxiliary works.
Currently, the Prime Minister has approved the commune's planning to build 2 industrial clusters (Quynh My Industrial Cluster 68ha, Quynh Hoa Industrial Cluster 12.5ha) and 1 industrial park (Ngoc Chau Industrial Park with an expected area of 300ha by 2030, and an expected area after 2030 of 1,000ha)...
Trade and service activities have developed in a diverse manner, contributing significantly to economic growth, social development, and expanding the exchange of goods. Services have developed quite rapidly and the locality has focused on managing service prices, food safety, and environmental sanitation, especially in key areas. The new rural development program has achieved many important results. Of the 4 communes before the merger, 3 communes have met the new rural standards, and 1 commune has met the advanced new rural standards in 2024 (Ngoc Son commune). The rural appearance has changed a lot, and the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved.
The cultural and social fields continued to have many positive changes, playing an important role in the harmonious and sustainable development of the locality. Education and training were focused on comprehensive development; the quality of education was improved. The movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" was widely deployed. Social security work was deployed synchronously and promptly. Policy families, people with meritorious services and social protection beneficiaries were given careful attention and care. Security and national defense were strengthened, political security and social order and safety were ensured.

To realize the set goals, Quynh Son commune strives to effectively implement 5 main groups of solutions, in which priority is given to developing and promoting investment attraction for key projects in industrial parks and industrial clusters, focusing on attracting investors to build infrastructure. Attracting investment in complex projects of industrial parks and clusters in the area; Focusing on developing advantageous industrial sectors such as construction materials production, forestry processing..., creating favorable conditions for Trang Phuoc Chau garment factory (Quynh Hoa)... to operate effectively. Encouraging the development of new products, using modern technology towards export. Promoting the development of small-scale industry and rural occupations, aiming to shift the rural economic structure towards industrialization and modernization.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Breakthrough - Development", the Party Committee of Quynh Son commune sets out 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs in the coming term. At the same time, it is determined to strive to complete and exceed 28/28 main targets on economy, culture - society, environment, national defense, security; Party building and political system.

Attract investment resources to complete key projects such as: Road to T-tech Solid Waste Treatment Plant in Ngoc Son commune, road to Quynh Hoa Industrial Cluster...
Develop modern, efficient, sustainable agriculture in the direction of green, clean, ecological, circular, adapting to climate change. Develop trade in the direction of civilization, modernity, rapid and sustainable growth; in which focus on planning commune markets, correcting the situation of spontaneous markets in residential areas, prioritizing the orientation of building shopping centers and mini supermarkets.
Focus on attracting investors to build infrastructure and produce and do business in Ngoc Chau Industrial Park, Quynh My Industrial Cluster, Quynh Hoa Industrial Cluster...; urge to remove difficulties for implemented projects to soon come into operation.
Pay attention to investing in renovating and upgrading school facilities and equipment, especially investing in building enough classrooms at all levels to ensure the prescribed standards. Strive to have 75-80% of schools meet national standards, of which at least 1 school meets national standards at level 2.
Attract investment, restore and promote the value of heritages, especially Ho Hung Dat Temple and Cua Gan Temple associated with the development of spiritual tourism. Focus on developing human resources to meet the development requirements of the commune; improve the quality and effectiveness of vocational training in the area...
