6-year-old boy in critical condition after being attacked by a swarm of bees

(Baonghean.vn)- On the way home from his grandmother's bike ride, Nguyen Viet Anh (6 years old), Minh Tho hamlet, Hoa Son commune, Do Luong was critically stung by a bee.

According to witnesses, on October 14, while a group of people were catching a beehive (about 5kg) on ​​a tree in Minh Tho hamlet, Hoa Son commune, Nguyen Viet Anh was riding his bicycle. While he was riding, he was attacked by hundreds of bees on his body and head. He staggered and fell off his bike, then ran into a nearby house and collapsed.

People quickly took the child to the emergency room. At Nghe An Children's Hospital, the doctor diagnosed that the child was stung by a bee and fell off the bike, leading to severe injuries and bleeding.

Currently, Viet Anh is still in critical condition and has been taken to Hanoi for treatment.

It is known that her family's circumstances are still difficult, her father works far away, her mother works as a garment worker and has just given birth to a baby. Her grandmother also suffered a stroke and is bedridden.

After treatment in Nghe An, the cost was nearly 100 million VND. Recently, the local government also called for support for the family but it was not enough to cover the treatment costs. The family is in dire need of support from philanthropists.
