8-year-old boy was hacked to death while babysitting his younger sibling at home
The mother came back from buying instant noodles and found her son had been slashed on the back of the neck and was bleeding profusely.
According to the mother's report, at around 8:00 p.m. on April 14, she left her 8-year-old boy and two younger siblings alone at home in Dao Tu commune (Tam Duong district, Vinh Phuc) while she went to a neighbor's house to buy instant noodles.
When she returned, she discovered the boy had been slashed in the back of the neck and was bleeding profusely. After being taken to the emergency room, the 8-year-old child died due to the severity of his injuries.
That same night, the scene was sealed off to serve the police investigation.
Leaders of Dao Tu Commune People's Committee confirmed that the incident occurred in the area. According to the locality, in recent days, there have been many fights in the commune due to land disputes. The boy's father was one of the participants./.
