The person who carries out this collection stage is Ms. Nguyen Thi Cat - a familiar face in all the stadiums around Vinh Stadium. Sharing about her work, Ms. Cat said: “Because I don’t have a pension, I have been doing this job for many years to earn extra income to cover my living expenses. I have been here for so long that at every stadium and tournament, I am specially allowed by the organizing committee to collect trash. Everyone appreciates me and creates favorable conditions for me. Because in the process of collecting plastic bottles and cardboard, I also pick up trash for them, from crumbs, candy wrappers, jellies, etc. I try to pick up as much as I can, clean it up!”

Ms. Cat currently lives alone in a small house near Vinh City Stadium. Ms. Cat's job brings her a daily income of 20-50 thousand VND. That is when people come to her to give her plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, when the audience and coaches thank her, when famous athletes recognize her and say hello... "During the pandemic, I was very sad because I had no income and could not meet anyone. Today I picked up 2 big bags, each kg was 2 thousand VND, this amount must be nearly 20 thousand, enough for lunch" - Ms. Cat boasted.
Not only doing her job, Mrs. Cat is also an extremely enthusiastic spectator of football. Whenever the field is clean and she has free time, she immediately finds herself a place in the stands to passionately watch the game.ball.
