Nghe An General Hospital donates to support 'Tet for the poor' in 2022

The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly affected medical examination and treatment as well as the income and life of hospital staff and workers. However, with the tradition of solidarity "mutual love and support",Nghe An General Hospitalalways cares about gratitude activities, towards the poor with many meaningful activities such as: receiving support for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, taking care of policy beneficiaries, families of people with revolutionary contributions, poor patients, people in poor communes, cadres and employees in difficult circumstances...

In 2021 alone, the amount of money that Nghe An General Hospital's staff and employees donated to social security funds was more than 1 billion VND. Through these meaningful programs, they have contributed to maintaining political stability, developing the economy, strengthening national defense and security in the locality, and the unit has been recognized by Party committees at all levels, departments, branches and sectors.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Huong - Director of Nghe An General Hospital stated: "The work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction has become a widespread movement, rich in humanity with many charitable deeds and noble gestures carried out by organizations and individuals inside and outside the province.

The Covid-19 pandemic has negatively impacted socio-economic activities, directly affecting employment, income, and the lives of people of all walks of life. Poor and near-poor households in the province, who were already facing difficulties, are now facing even more difficulties. Many people are facing difficult and unfortunate circumstances and are in dire need of help from the community.

Nghe An General Hospital calls on departments, offices, centers and all cadres, civil servants and workers of the entire hospital to join hands to support and help the poor in the province to celebrate the traditional Tet holiday of the nation more warmly and fully, to soon overcome difficulties and rise up in life and "leave no one behind".

At the ceremony, officials, civil servants and employees of Nghe An General Hospital responded to the call and made donations to support "Tet for the poor" in 2022 at 4 locations: Tropical Disease Center, Covid-19 Resuscitation Center, Field Hospital No. 8 and Nghe An General Hospital Hall... The total amount of money raised was 168 million VND.
