Vinh International Hospital screened 120 children with motor disabilities
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 12, Vinh International Hospital coordinated with Nghe An Children's Fund and Dr. Le Duc To - Director of STO Phuong Dong Orthopedic and Traumatology Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize screening, medical records, and free surgery for children with motor disabilities in 2016.
It is expected that 120 children from 1 to 16 years old with motor disabilities (polydactyly, syndactyly, contracted limbs, clubbed hands and feet, O-shaped legs, X-shaped legs...) who have not had surgery or have had surgery (in need of re-examination) will be screened.

Previously, in March 2016, the free surgery program for children with motor disabilities of Vinh International Hospital had screened 200 children and scheduled surgery for 100 children; of which, 44 children had undergone surgery. The subjects who had been examined and scheduled for surgery in the previous round will now have their records prepared for surgery in the next round.
The screening program took place over one day at Vinh International Hospital. After screening and medical records were created, the children with disabilities were assigned and scheduled to undergo free surgery in November 2016.
