Forbidden to love, young couple in Nghe An commit suicide by using poison ivy

(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from the Na Ngoi commune government (Ky Son), at around 2:30 p.m. on February 12, 2016, in Na Cang village (Na Ngoi), a suicide attempt using poison ivy resulted in the death of one victim.

The victim was Mua Ba Thai, 18 years old, who died in a forest near the village. Another victim, Xong Y Khu, who lives in the same village, is currently being treated at Tuong Duong District General Hospital. A representative of this hospital said that this patient is now out of danger.

According to local people, the reason for the suicide was because the couple was forbidden by their families to marry because they were not old enough to get married.
