(Baonghean.vn) - While installing a pump to water the soil for making bricks, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan (26 years old), residing in Bau Khe hamlet, Giai Xuan commune (Tan Ky) died from electric shock.

The family is preparing to bury the victim.

The tragic incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. on June 11 at Team 2, Cua tile village, Nghia Hoan commune (Tan Ky) when Toan was installing a pump to prepare for watering the land tomorrow. According to Nguyen Van Hung, who worked with the victim, "When everyone was about to eat, Toan was nowhere to be seen. A few of us went to look for him and saw him being electrocuted right next to the pump. We immediately went to cut off the power but it was too late." The cause was determined to be an exposed power source that led to the victim's death.

It is known that Toan's family is poor, he is the main breadwinner in the family, currently has a wife and two small children, the youngest daughter is only 20 days old. After the accident, he was taken home for burial. Immediately after the incident, the owner of the brick kiln where he worked visited and supported the family with 20 million VND.
