Kicked out of room for using drugs, brought accomplices to shoot and injure 2 people

Kicked out of the room for using crystal meth, Phong cursed, threatened and called 6 more people with guns to shoot, injuring two people who had to be taken to the emergency room.

On May 7, the Investigation Police Agency of Bien Hoa City Police (Dong Nai) is investigating, verifying and arresting Nguyen Hoang Phong (31 years old, Tan Tien Ward, Bien Hoa City) and his accomplices who caused the shooting that injured two people.

According to initial information, Tran Van Luc (26 years old, living in Soc Trang) rented a room in Lo Lu area, Hoa An commune (Bien Hoa city) to stay. At around 6 pm on May 5, Luc went out but did not lock the room door. At 11 pm on the same day, Luc returned to his room and saw Nguyen Hoang Phong and 3 other people using crystal meth in his room. Angry, Luc chased Phong and his group out of the room.

Being chased, Phong cursed Luc and threatened to come back and beat him up before leaving. In the early morning of May 6, Luc was afraid so he walked to Hoa An market (Bien Hoa city) and called his friend Nguyen Hoang Duc Thanh (31 years old, living in Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong) to pick him up. When he got in the car, Phong and 6 people (unknown background) on 4 motorbikes (unknown license plates) chased after him. When they reached the middle of Hoa An bridge, Phong and the group used guns (unknown type of gun) to fire 3 shots, causing 2 bullets to hit Luc and Thanh in the back.

Despite being injured, Thanh continued to drive the car carrying Luc to escape and went to the Hoa An Commune Police Station (Bien Hoa City), reported the incident and was then taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
