Tragedy from jealousy, two brothers go to jail

In this case, the two perpetrators were both simple workers, but because of their naivety about the law, blind jealousy, and unresolved family conflicts, the crime resulted in heartbreaking consequences.

Regarding the above case, on March 31, the Criminal Police Department of Hung Yen Province Police issued a decision to temporarily detain two suspects, Dang Thi Xuan Suoi (42 years old, residing at the above address) and Suoi's biological brother Dang My Chanh (45 years old, residing in My Hao district, Hung Yen province) for murder. The investigation determined that Nguyen Van Phu and Dang Thi Xuan Suoi had built a family many years ago and had three children together.

Their eldest child has built his own family, while the second and third children are currently living with Phu and his wife. The family conflict started 6 years ago (2012), when Suoi and her brother Dang My Chanh heard friends and relatives gossiping about Phu having an illicit relationship with Nguyen Thi Thao (Chanh's wife).

Chanh repeatedly questioned his wife about her relationship with Phu and vice versa, Suoi also asked her husband about the above information, but neither Phu nor Thao admitted it.

In early 2017, Phu secretly borrowed a large sum of money from his wife and used it for personal expenses. When these loans were urgently collected, he was unable to pay them back, so he kept asking Suoi for money to pay them back.

When Suoi did not give him the money, Phu threatened to leave Suoi for another woman who could pay off his debt. Not stopping there, Phu also brazenly called his girlfriend in front of Suoi. It was Phu's actions that unintentionally pushed Suoi into a corner...

During sleepless nights, Suoi thought a lot and harbored hatred towards her unfaithful husband. Therefore, on March 19, Suoi went to her brother's house to confide in him about her husband's mistreatment. Her sister's confidences seemed to ignite the resentment that had been building up in Chanh's heart for so long. Chanh was so angry that he told his sister that he would have to beat Phu up.

At around 2:00 p.m. on March 28, people in Lieu Trung village, Lieu Xa commune heard a scream from Phu and Suoi's family. When people ran to the scene, they were horrified to see a man using a hammer to hit Phu on the head. People around arrested Chanh and took Phu to the emergency room. At the investigation agency, Chanh confessed to his crime.

From here, the case was clarified: At around 8am on March 28, due to stomach pain, Suoi called the company to ask for leave (Suoi is a catering worker of Vietnam Gas Joint Stock Company in Thang Long II Industrial Park). At 9am the same day, Suoi saw Phu still sleeping on the bed in the kitchen...

When she saw Phu, the hatred in the woman's heart rose again. Suoi texted Chanh with the intention of taking action and confronting Phu. At that time, Suoi's two children were at home, so Suoi and Chanh agreed to take action at 2:00 p.m. that same day.

As planned, at around 1:30 p.m. the same day, Suoi took her two children to her brother’s house. Afterwards, Chanh rode a bicycle, wearing a mask, to Suoi’s house, entered the house, assaulted Phu, and was later arrested./.
