Finland is a country known for its cold weather, long winters, and low temperatures, which has led to a high suicide rate. But now that has all changed, Finland has become the happiest country in the world.
In the 2018 World Happiness Report just released by the United Nations, Finland rose to the first position, followed by Switzerland, the Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
The World Happiness Report, compiled by the United Nations, ranks 156 countries. Finland and many other Nordic countries are at the top of the list thanks to indicators such as income, life expectancy, social welfare, trust and generosity. For many Finns, the secret to happiness is knowing how to balance work and family.

For some Finns, happiness can come from the simplest things. For example, saunas have become one of the most popular leisure activities in the Nordic country. According to statistics, about 5.5 million Finns enjoy this pleasure once a week.
It is worth noting that Finland also ranks first in terms of the happiness of immigrants, a criterion that has been included in the UN report for the first time.
In the ranking of 156 countries, Vietnam ranked 95th, above Indonesia, Bhutan, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and India.
