Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy surveyed the Chung Mountain Ecological, Cultural and Spiritual Tourism Area project, proposed to be built in the Chung Mountain area of ​​Hong Son and Lien Son 2 hamlets of Kim Lien commune.

The investment project is consistent with the planning and orientation of socio-economic development of Kim Lien commune in particular and Nam Dan district in general in the coming time.

If implemented, the project will contribute to increasing the proportion of industry, services, and trade, reducing the proportion of agriculture in the economic structure, contributing to local economic growth.

Also this morning, the Provincial Party Secretary heard a report on the implementation plan of the Binh Yen Village project at the Dragon Blood Rice Planting and Conservation Area in Kim Lien commune.

These are two of the projects to implement the Plan to preserve, restore and promote the value of the special National Monument of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Kim Lien, Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1943/QD-TTg dated November 27, 2020.

The goal of the planning is to preserve, restore and promote the value of the special National Monument of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District to become a place to educate revolutionary patriotism, honor the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh; an attractive cultural - historical tourist complex associated with the typical characteristics of Nam Dan land and Nghe An province.

The planning also determined the structure, nature and land use indicators for the planning area; oriented the organization of space, completed the technical infrastructure system of the Special National Monument of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site; at the same time oriented the plan, roadmap and proposed project groups, management solutions, investment in preservation, restoration and promotion of the value of the monument.

During the direct survey, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy listened to the leaders of Nam Dan district report on the location, scale, and expected progress of the projects, as well as the expected number of affected households that would have to be relocated.

On that basis, leaders of relevant departments and branches discussed and analyzed to clarify the contents related to procedures and expected progress to issue decisions approving investment policies and decisions approving investors.

After listening to the direct report, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy requested Nam Dan district and departments and branches to carefully assess the impact of the project, carry out procedures in accordance with regulations to submit to the province for approval of the investment policy; then need to ensure progress, contributing to further promoting the value of the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site. During the project implementation process, it is necessary to minimize the relocation of people, carry out compensation and site clearance well, and ensure a stable life for affected people.

Also this morning, the Provincial Party Secretary listened to and gave his opinion on the Project of high-tech agricultural production and processing along the Lam River, proposed to be implemented on public land strips on both sides of the Lam River within the communes of Xuan Hoa, Hung Tien, Thuong Tan Loc, Xuan Lam, Khanh Son, Trung Phuc Cuong in Nam Dan district.
