Provincial Party Secretary: Absolutely must not cause difficulties for investors

At the meeting, 11 large-scale projects of strategic investors were selected to discuss and resolve problems, ensuring progress such as: VSIP Industrial, Commercial and Urban Park Project; Construction and business of industrial park infrastructure; WHA Hemaraj high-tech park and urban, commercial and residential area; Hoang Mai 1 Industrial Park of Hoang Thinh Dat Joint Stock Company; renovation of Quang Trung apartment complex; FLC ecological resort and entertainment complex; Vinpearl Cua Hoi amusement park, Renovation of Quang Trung B area...

Representatives of investors have raised many opinions and problems affecting the progress of ongoing projects. Vingroup Corporation is participating in the Quang Trung B area renovation project, the Cua Hoi phase 2 project, supermarkets in Nam Dan, Thai Hoa... Currently, all projects are in the procedure stage and investors want departments and branches to speed up the process of handling documents; the investor of the Hai Chau Confectionery Factory project reported that it has not received the site yet so it has not been implemented; For the MDF project of Thanh Thanh Dat Company in Anh Son, the investor has paid 17/30 billion VND in compensation for land acquisition and clearance, but currently the road to the Tri Le small industrial park, 1.6 km long, has not been built...

Regarding the above issues, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong assigned localities to thoroughly handle them. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Vinh City to focus on clearing the land for the Quang Trung Area B project, especially the issue of planning adjustment; requested Thai Hoa Town to promptly resolve the problems for Vingroup's project. The representative of Hoang Mai Town also committed to handing over 4.6 ha/5.2 ha to the investor of the Hai Chau confectionery project next week.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh thanked the sense of responsibility and enthusiasm of investors who chose Nghe An. He said that Nghe An province has made great efforts and determination to resolve problems for investors. "Nghe An commits to quickly and properly resolving procedures for investors. Departments and branches in Nghe An must strictly handle any cases that cause congestion affecting the investment environment and investors," the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized and recommended that investors carefully study the project location and resource conditions to ensure the project's success and sustainable effectiveness.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong said that Nghe An has been actively reforming the administration in recent times. Every day, departments, branches and sectors focus on resolving investors' problems. To facilitate investors, the Provincial People's Committee directed localities to promptly complete land use plans; the Department of Finance allocated resources for site clearance; and thoroughly resolved problems caused by land encroachment in the Southeast Economic Zone.

For Thanh Thanh Dat's MDF project in Anh Son, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that investors will invest in the road leading to the factory first and at the same time request the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center to make efforts to help investors complete unfinished procedures.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also accepted the direction of the Provincial Party Secretary on administrative reform and committed to investors to quickly and legally resolve their issues.
