While on the road, two brothers were suddenly stopped by a group of nearly 10 people who used helmets, bricks and stones to beat them to the point of hospitalization just because... they looked rude.

On September 3, the Investigation Police Agency of Buon Ho Town Police, Dak Lak Province, said that the unit is investigating a group of people who beat someone for no reason in the area on the afternoon of September 2.

Previously, on the afternoon of September 2, Y Jon Mlo (16 years old, residing in Dat Hieu ward, Buon Ho town) and his younger brother rode a motorbike to the center of Buon Ho town to buy clothes. On the way, the two brothers Y Jon Mlo encountered a group of nearly 10 young men riding motorbikes to the side of the road.

Mr. Y Jon Mlo with a head wound is being treated at the hospital.

While the two brothers did not understand what was happening, this group of people used helmets and roadside bricks and stones to attack Y Jon Mlo.

“These people beat me up and said the reason was because I was ‘looking at them in a bad way’ and only stopped when they saw the wound on my head was bleeding profusely. After beating me, the group told my younger brother, ‘Take him to get his wound stitched up’ and then left,” Y Jon Mlo recalled.

On the afternoon of September 3, speaking to reporters, Dr. Y Nhan Mlo, Director of Buon Ho General Hospital, Dak Lak Province, said that patient Y Jon Mlo was admitted to the hospital on the afternoon of September 2 with a head injury. "The patient's health has gradually stabilized but he needs to be monitored further because the injury is in a dangerous area," Dr. Y Nhan Mlo added.
